Competing vs the MT – The Rules (Ambassadors Only…)
For MasterTeam Trial 2.0 we introduced 2 optional competitive elements strictly for our Ambassadors! [Note that from GW27 onwards, the Weekly Raffle/Shadow League will not be available.]
- The Entry Fee – A single head-to-head evens *ahem* “Entry Fee” option per week, your team against the MasterTeam, (of £1, £2, £5 or £10 – your call). It’s really simple – pick a team, submit your Entry Fee. If you score more points that the MT that Gameweek? Great, you get your Entry Fee back plus an equivalent £amount as a “Thank You” from the MT, back into your coffers!
- The Weekly Raffle – The weekly MT Serie-Ambassadors league will run as normal. In addition to that, anyone who enters a team and places an Entry Fee can also select a (virtual) “Raffle Ticket” for £1 in order to join the other Raffle Ticket-buying Ambassadors in a “Shadow League”. The Shadow League rules are the same as Serie-Ambassadors, except that the Shadow League winner each week pockets £5 as a “Thank You” for their Shadow League Raffle Ticket….you get the picture!
Once you’ve submitted a team, you can choose to do just an Entry Fee, and Entry Fee and Raffle or neither of these options. Please do if you can!
If you do punt on your team, you will get an option to submit the amount of your Entry Fee and the choice to participate in the Raffle. If you do one or both, you’ll then get an automated e-mail with some instructions around submitting your punts to the MT . Please include your name as the payment reference. You will need to transfer the amount you’re submitting to our coffers prior to the relevant GW deadline in order to be eligible for “thank yous” (any submitted after the deadline will be returned to you as null & void).
First time round please reply to that e-mail (from gaffa@masterteamff.com) with your bank account and sortcode – to enable us to *ahem* make thank you payments for either element!
